The integers are 2 and 3

Since the integers are consecutive :

Let the integers be :

Smaller integer = x and

Larger integer = x+1

The sum of both = 3x - 1

Hence,

x + (x + 1) = 3x - 1

x + x + 1 = 3x - 1

2x + 1 = 3x - 1

2x - 3x = - 1 - 1

-x = - 2

x = 2

The smaller integer, x = 2

The larger integer  x + 1 = 2 + 1 = 3
