When u have to much of something id u have a surplus on money it causes inflation

Surplus is when you have an overabundance of something. When you have too much of something, demand goes down. This causes inflation, the slow increase of prices because money has less value. For example, if a candy bar cost 5 cents in 1940, it could cost $1.20 now. This is because of inflation.
