This assignment as you were saying is telling you like the multiples.

Here's a fine example:

6, 8

Multiples of 6... 12, 24, 36, 72

Multiples of 8... 16, 24, 32, 64, 72

Right ones: 24, 72

Refering:

6 * 4 = 24

8 * 3 = 24

8 * 9 = 72

6 * 12 = 72

How we understand this To improvise an answer to each problem, you have to know what number can be multipled by the same number. Look at the refer example above from the refering. It has to match up that both numbers can have the same multiple.
