land use changed during the Columbus trade also when they discovered north america because they were exposed to new animals that could be used for agriculture because before the only animals they could use for labor as farming was llamas and nothing else they also soon had taken the natives land and used it for mining which later introduced the bessemer process which brought steel which allowed for the industrial revolution.
