By definition, the centripetal force is given by:

[/tex]

Where,

v: tangential speed

r: radius of the circular path

m: mass of the object

Substituting values we have:

[tex] F = 0.25 * (\frac{12.2 ^ 2}{1.6})

F = 23.26
