let's find the equation of line passing through those two points.

slope of the given line :

  • [tex] \dfrac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1} [/tex]

  • [tex] \dfrac{3 - 0}{0 - ( - 1)} [/tex]

  • [tex] \dfrac{3}{ 1} [/tex]

  • [tex]3[/tex]

now, let's plug the value of slope (m)

and y - intercept (c) in general equation

of line in slope intercept form.

i.e y = mx + c

so, we get the equation of given line as :

  • y = 3x + 3
