Is (1,2) a solution to this system of equations? 18x+10y=19 x+15y=18

No that wouldn't be the solution because:

18x=10y=19
18*1+10*2=
18+20=38
Which isn't 19 so it cant be the answer.

And:
x+15y=18
1+15*2=
1+30=31
Which is also wrong because it doesn't = 18
