1. Since you already know the (l x w), which is 56 inches squared, you must multiply 56 x 6. And yes, that is the answer. 

7. Since you only need to know the base area, multiply the length and width. 8 x 3.5 = 28. 

8. The formula for base area is l x w because you just need the base area and no height.
