In “A Christmas Carol”, Scrooge meets the Ghost of Christmas Present and says “Spirit,’ conduct me where you will. I went forth last night on compulsion, and I learnt a lesson which is working now. Tonight, if you ought to teach me, let me profit by it.’” This quote is the dawn of a big change in Scrooge.
